| | Dear Road Wizard: The East End still doesn't have alternating STOP signs, which seems crazy! This is years after the North End got them. Shouldn't there be signs as you enter the area advising of this and that people should yield to traffic on the right? C.@

| | ACHD tries not to post signs that repeat basic rules of the road from the Idaho Drivers Manual. At unmarked intersections, give the driver on your right the right-of-way. (And if you're the driver on someone else's right, go promptly after they've stopped for you, for goodness sake!) The East End neighborhood reps appreciated the virtues of alternate-street stop signs, but they also wanted to consider alternate ideas for traffic circles and roundabouts, which take bigger infusions of energy, resources, and collaboration. ACHD has been shorthanded recently because of employees called to military service. As they return, East End/ACHD collaboration might get some fresh energy. The stop sign plan remains ready to go.
