| | Dear Road Wizard: You have explained very well how the HAWK signal operates on Ustick Road at the branch library west of Cole Road. Still, 99 out of 100 drivers don't get it that they can proceed on a flashing red light after stopping first and determining that it is safe to go. M.A.@ |
| | The main legal and safety thing is to stop on ANY red. The main courtesy and allowable thing is to proceed if it's flashing red and safe.
