The Hill Road Sidewalk Project was completed at the beginning of February 2010.
- Install curb, gutter and sidewalk on south side of roadway.
- Restripe existing bike lanes.
- Update existing pedestrian ramps to current standards and install new ramps where needed.
Background
A Community Program application was submitted for this project in 2005. Design began in 2006 and is currently 100% complete.
The sidewalk project was constructed with the City of Boise's Hulls Gulch Pipeline Replacement project, which includes the work on Hill Road. The pipeline project is currently under way. The sidewalk portion is nearly complete. The asphalt roadway will be patched as soon as hot asphalt is available.
